The Minnesota Vikings have signed running back Caleb King.

The former University of Georgia back was a free agent after he was not selected during Monday's NFL Supplemental Draft.

King entered the supplemental draft because he was ruled academically ineligible this summer at Georgia. He ran for 1,271 yards and 10 touchdowns in 29 games, including 10 starts, during his three-year career with the Bulldogs.

The Vikings opened a roster spot by waiving guard Rodney Huntley.
