Minnesota Vikings linebacker Chad Greenway is still useful, but he's definitely not the Pro Bowl defender he was a few a years ago.

Against the Detroit Lions in Week 2, Greenway played only 16 snaps. Pro Football Focus records tell us that's a new career low for him, per Chris Tomasson of the Pioneer Press.

The Vikings won the game, 26-16, despite Greenway's limited contributions. The Lions were playing from behind, so quarterback Matthew Stafford threw the ball 53 times. To counter, Minnesota mostly employed its nickel package on defense.

The results are evident in the final linebacker snap counts. Anthony Barr and Eric Kendricks, the team's two nickel linebackers, played the most snaps on Sunday, per Nathan Jahnke of Pro Football Focus.
