Eden Prairie, MN – Minnesota Vikings linebacker Chad Greenway has been added to the NFC Pro Bowl team as an injury replacement for Chicago's Lance Briggs.
Greenway will appear in his first Pro Bowl after recording a personal-best 154 tackles this past season. He has been the Vikings' leader in tackles for each of the past four years.
"I'm excited to be going to the Pro Bowl, representing the Vikings," said Greenway. "Even though we didn't have the kind of season we wanted to as far as winning games, we have guys who are proud and want to get back to the top. I'm honored to be thought of as a Pro Bowler and will make the most of the opportunity."
Greenway, who will join teammate Jared Allen in Hawaii, added 13 tackles for loss with two sacks and one fumble recovery this season.
