EDEN PRAIRIE, Minn. – Minnesota Vikings defensive tackle Tom Johnson is practicing with the team as usual following his weekend arrest on trespassing and disorderly conduct charges.
Johnson said Tuesday his status is "business as usual" while his case is pending. Coach Mike Zimmer said the team is "still collecting facts" about the situation, which police said involved the use of chemical spray and a stun gun to subdue Johnson early Sunday when he refused to leave a downtown restaurant after closing time.
Johnson said authorities "should be accountable for what they do" but refused to speak specifically about what happened, deferring to his representatives.
