Cleveland, OH – The Cleveland Cavaliers provided an update on to-six weeks.
Varejao was hurt in a February 10 game against the Milwaukee Bucks and the team said the following day that an MRI exam revealed a non-displaced fracture of the right wrist.
After additional testing this week, a timeline for his return was established.
Varejao is averaging 10.8 points and a team-best 11.5 rebounds in 25 games this season.
The Cavs also said guard Daniel Gibson is considered doubtful for Friday's game against Miami because of a left ankle sprain, while guard Anthony Parker won't play against the Heat because of a lower back strain.
