MINNEAPOLIS (Reuters) - The Minnesota Twins agreed to a $16.5 million, two-year contract with right-handed pitcher Carl Pavano, the Major League Baseball team said on Wednesday.

The 35-year-old former All-Star had seven complete games last season, which tied him for the second-most in the Major Leagues behind Philadelphia's Roy Halladay.
