The Minnesota Twins placed infielder Trevor Plouffe on the 15-day disabled list with a left calf strain on Thursday.

Plouffe was just activated from the seven-day concussion disabled list on Wednesday, but was scratched from the Twins' game against the Brewers.

The 26-year-old Plouffe is hitting .254 with four home runs and 17 RBI in 37 games this season.

Infielder Chris Colabello, who was optioned to Triple-A Rochester when Plouffe was reinstated, will be recalled to take his place on the 25-man roster. He is 1-for-11 in five games with Minnesota.
