The Minnesota Twins made a flurry of moves on Wednesday morning, placing outfielder Darin Mastroianni on the 15-day disabled list, while adding closer Glen Perkins to the 60-day DL and calling left-handed pitcher Buddy Boshers up from Triple-A.

Mastroianni is suffering from an oblique strain, while Perkins has been kept out with a shoulder ailment.

Boshers signed with the Twins as a free agent in December, and last appeared in the majors in 2013.

He has a 1.42 ERA and 1.000 WHIP with 21 strikeouts in 19 innings pitched for the Triple-A Rochester Red Wings this season.

A fourth-round draft pick of the Los Angeles Angels in 2008, Boshers pitched for Somerset of the Atlantic League in 2015, posting a 1.50 ERA, 0.981 WHIP and 11.8 K/9 in 52 innings after being released by the Colorado Rockies in March.
