East Rutherford, NJ – New York Giants defensive end Justin Tuck and running back Brandon Jacobs are doubtful for Sunday's game against the Seattle Seahawks.
Tuck has a lingering neck injury he suffered in a preseason game against the Jets on August 29 and has been limited to just two games this season. He did not play last Sunday against Arizona.
Tuck wore "tighter" shoulder pads and a re-purposed facemask during practice on Thursday, but did not take the field on Friday.
Jacobs hasn't practiced all week due to a swollen knee.
If Jacobs doesn't play on Sunday, D.J. Ware will take his place as the No. 2 back. Coincidentally, Ware had the best game of his career last season against the Seahawks. He rushed for 66 yards on 13 carries in New York's 41-7 win.
