Vienna, Austria – Top seeds Jo-Wilfried Tsonga and former U.S. Open champion Juan Martin del Potro will meet in the final at the Erste Bank Open.
The second-seeded del Potro got Saturday's semifinal action started with a 6-4, 3-6, 6-4 victory over sixth-seeded Kevin Anderson on the indoor hardcourts at Wiener Stadthalle.
Del Potro of Argentina will be making his third appearance in a final this season (2-0). He is 9-3 lifetime in title matches.
The flashy Tsonga took down German qualifier Daniel Brands 6-2, 7-6 (7-4) to secure a spot in Sunday's title match.
Tsonga of France has a 1-2 mark in finals this year. He will be appearing in his 10th career title match.
Del Potro has a 3-0 career mark against Tsonga.
The 2011 Vienna titlist will collect $145,000.
