Tim George Jr. scored the first pole of his Camping World Truck Series career Saturday as he led time trials for Saturday afternoon’s SFP 250 race at Kansas Speedway.

George turned a fast lap of 172.436 miles per hour. He edged Jason Leffler, who was clocked at 172.331.

Completing the top five were Justin Lofton, Jason White and Ty Dillon.

Series point leader Timothy Peters qualified 10th.

The race, the fourth of the Truck Series season, will be televised by SPEED beginning at 1:30 p.m. ET with NASCAR Camping World Truck Series Setup.
