The Portland Trail Blazers officially signed guard Mo Williams on Thursday.

Yahoo! Sports reported on Wednesday that the two-year contract is worth $5.6 million, with the second year being a player option.

Williams, 30, averaged 12.9 points and 6.2 assists in 46 games for the Jazz last season. He missed two months of the season because of thumb surgery.

"I'm very exited to be back with Mo again," said Trail Blazers coach Terry Stotts. "He adds versatility, scoring and veteran leadership to the team."

Stotts coached Williams in Milwaukee during the 2006 and 2007 seasons.

The 6-foot-1 guard has averaged 13.8 points and 5.0 assists per contest over 10 seasons with the Jazz (2003-04, 2012-13), Bucks (2004-08), Cavaliers (2008-11) and Clippers (2011-12). He was an All-Star in 2009.
