Utrecht, Netherlands (SportsNetwork.com) - Jens Toornstra bagged a second half brace on Saturday as FC Utrecht pulled out a comfortable 4-2 win over NAC at the Stadion Galgenwaard.
The hosts wasted little times opening the scoring as Yassine Ayoub struck just 16 minutes into the match, but NAC responded with an equalizer from Danny Verbeek in the 36th minute to send the sides into the break on level terms.
Toornstra broke the deadlock in the 63rd minute and Jacob Mulenga added a third goal to give the home side a 3-1 lead nine minutes from time. Two minutes later Toornstra made it 4-1 game before Anouar Hadouir pulled one back for NAC in the 86th minute, but it wasn't enough as Utretch claimed all three points.
Elsewhere in the Eredivise on Saturday, Marnix Kolder scored an equalizer in the final minute of normal time to save a point for Go Ahead Eagles in a 2-2 draw with Feyenoord, while Frank Demouge scored the winner in a 2-1 victory for Roda over RKC Waalwijk.
Lucas Piazon netted a brace and Patrick Van Aanholt netted the winner in stoppage time for Vitesse in a 3-2 win over Heerenveen, while in Saturday's final Eredivisie fixture, Luc Castaignos opened the scoring for Twente 22 minutes into the match, but Kolbeinn Sigthorsson equalized nine minutes from time as Ajax save a point in a 1-1 draw.
