Tim Tebow may still be the fifth-most popular NFL quarterback (despite not having played in a game since 2012), but the former Denver Broncos and Florida Gators star seems content with his life away from the field.

The Tim Tebow Foundation staged its 2016 Golf Classic at TPC Sawgrass earlier this month - the field featured current PGA Tour pros Zach Johnson and Billy Horschel, MLB legends Gary Sheffield and Chipper Jones, and Fred Durst - and Tebow gave Fox News reporter host Ainsley Earhardt the most perfect Tebow quote about his current situation.

"Tim is this better than playing football?

Making a difference is always better than playing football. Golfing? Ehh, I don't really know about that. But being able to put a smile on a kid's face? Yeah."

Tebow, who is still only 28 years old, also said he would be intrigued by the possibility of getting into politics later in life if it means he can help people.

"Have you thought about politics?

It's been crazy, hasn't it? It's been a whirlwind watching everything. You know, I don't know in this time in my life, but if there's a chance you can make a difference some day in something, then that would be intriguing."
