Featherweight prospect Max Holloway entered this matchup against Sweden's Akiri Corassani riding a three-fight win streak --€“ all by way of finish --€“ and was looking to crack the 145-pound top-15 rankings.

Despite being the underdog and fighting in enemy territory, Holloway showed he was ready to stand and bang with a true UFC veteran. The Hawaiian's dynamic striking proved too much for Corassani, as Holloway outlanded his opponent 38-11 in significant strikes en route to a first-round knockout and "Performance of the Night" bonus.

Holloway would go on to win his next two fights against talented featherweights Cole Miller and Cub Swanson and now sits at fifth in the division. The 23-year-old fighter looks for his seventh straight win when he returns to the Octagon this weekend against seventh-ranked Charles Oliveira.
