PORTLAND, Ore. (AP) The Portland Thorns of the National Women's Soccer League announced a sellout of their Aug. 30 match against the Washington Spirit at Providence Park.

The game, Portland's regular-season finale, will be the second sellout of the season. The Thorns drew 21,144 to a match against the Seattle Reign on July 22, which was the second-largest stand-alone crowd to watch a professional women's league game in the United States.

Providence Park will also host the NWSL championship match this year on Oct. 1.

The Thorns' roster includes Alex Morgan and Tobin Heath, who played on the U.S. women's national team that won the World Cup earlier this summer. Their U.S. teammates, Ashlyn Harris and Ali Krieger, play for the Spirit.

The Thorns are averaging a league-leading 15,027 fans at home this season.
