Janee Thompson scored 15 points, Jennifer O'Neill added 14 and No. 13 Kentucky routed Morehead State 91-62 on Wednesday.

Two days after rallying to beat No. 8 Baylor at Rupp Arena, the Wildcats (3-0) returned to Memorial Coliseum and scored 35 points off 24 turnovers in their annual midmorning game played before 5,923 fans, including 1,500 sixth-graders. Kentucky improved to 26-4 all-time against Morehead State (2-1), located 65 miles east of Lexington.

Linnae Harper had 13 points and 10 rebounds and Azia Bishop had 11 points and 11 rebounds for Kentucky, which outrebounded the Eagles 55-35.

The Eagles missed their first nine shots over 4 1/2 minutes before Maiki Viela's drive through the lane to start her 19-point day. Morehead State trailed 14-2 then and never got closer than 13 afterward despite recovering to outshoot Kentucky 44 percent to 42 percent.
