The Royals had a good laugh when a former teammate fell on his face during introductions

Nobody saw that, right? Oh they did, and they loved it.

During the Astros home opener introductions at Minute Maid Park on Monday, Houston's backup catcher Erik Kratz heard his name, came running, and then ate the ground. Here's the moment of glory:

The Royals enjoyed it so much because the 36-year-old Kratz is a former comrade who spent most of the 2014 and 2015 seasons with the team. It happens to the best of 'em.

After all, Kratz is a backup catcher, not a pinch runner.
