Lakers fans sitting on a spare five figures will have the chance to turn a section of the court from Kobe Bryant's last game into the centerpiece of their living room, all for a good cause. The Lakers announced Wednesday that the commemorative No. 8 added to the floor at the Staples Center will be put up for auction.

"The Lakers are auctioning off the three panels of hardwood that combine to create the number 8 to benefit the Lakers Youth Foundation. MeiGray, the NBA's official game used memorabilia authenticator, will sell the three panels as a single item in on-line auction. The auction will run until May 13, 2016 with a starting bid of $10,000."

Kobe autographed the floor after dropping 60 on the Jazz. The section of court displaying Bryant's other number, 24, will be moved to the Lakers' practice facility.
