The Philadelphia Eagles entered Week 8 with the No. 3 ranked pass defense, but they have a chance to be even better in the second half. 2014 Pro-Bowl outside linebacker Connor Barwin has just 4.5 sacks in 2015 after racking up 14.5 sacks in 2014.
The Eagles' pass defense has been outstanding, but they've done it without an elite pass rush. The Eagles have just 15 sacks this season through Week 8, and 17 teams have more sacks than them.
Fellow outside linebacker Brandon Graham has also struggled to generate consistent pressure in 2015. He has just two sacks so far on the season.
If the Eagles' top two pass rushers can wake up in the second half, the Eagles could field arguably the NFL's best pass defense.
