Longstanding plans for the renovation of the Chicago Cubs' clubhouse and other areas of Wrigley Field finally came to fruition in time for the team's home opener on Monday.

It looks like it was worth the wait. Check out the Cubs players taking in the view late Sunday night:

The overhauled 30,000-square-foot facility includes a larger locker room, a new strength and conditioning center, training areas, a lounge and a media center. The previous locker room was a fraction that size and severely outdated.

Especially with the mood lighting what looks like a bar in the center, this new clubhouse looks ready for some beer towers and come October, a bit of champagne.
