Casey Morris scored 11 points to lead No. 15 Texas Tech to a 75-38 rout of Western Kentucky on Wednesday night.

The Lady Raiders (10-0) never trailed after scoring the first 11 points of the game. Western Kentucky missed its first nine shots and finished the game just 22 percent from the field.

Texas Tech led 35-16 at the break.

LaTeira Owens scored 7 points to lead Western Kentucky (3-9).

Texas Tech is off to its best start since the 2003-04 season, when the Lady Raiders began 15-0. The win also gave Kristy Curry her first 10-0 start in 13 seasons as head coach at Texas Tech and Purdue.
