Texas Longhorns feeling momentum heading to TCU for 1st time in nearly 2 decades

FORT WORTH, Texas – Mack Brown and the Texas Longhorns are ready to embark on the next part of their season.

Winning their first three Big 12 games was a much better segment than the nonconference portion that preceded it.

Texas returns from an open date Saturday night for its first trip to TCU since 1994. The 4-2 Longhorns are one of three Big 12 teams without a conference loss after beating Oklahoma two weeks ago before an open date.

Longhorns running back Johnathan Gray says the team is on a roll and that there's a confidence in the team's play.

At 3-4, TCU is off to its worst start since 1999. But the Horned Frogs won at Texas last Thanksgiving night.
