Texas A&M junior forward Khris Middleton declared himself eligible for the NBA draft Monday.

"After careful consideration, my family and I have decided that I am ready to pursue my lifelong dream of playing in the NBA," Middleton said. "I understand there will be challenges ahead, both on and off the court, and I am confident that Texas A&M has helped prepare me for a number of the challenges I may encounter."

Middleton appeared in 87 career games with 72 starts over his three seasons with the Aggies. He has averages of 11.3 points, 4.6 rebounds and 2.0 assists per game.
