The Houston Texans already thin offensive line took another hit with the loss of right tackle Jeff Adams in Sunday's game against the the Carolina Panthers.

Adams injured his knee late in the second quarter and was carted off the field to the locker room. The team ruled him out for the remainder of the game.

Per John McClain of the Houston Chronicle, Kendall Lamm, an undrafted rookie free agent out of Appalachian State, took Adams' spot in the lineup.

Houston was already operating without starting left tackle Duane Brown, who missed the game with a thumb injury. With Brown out, the Texans started Chris Clark at left tackle, Adams at right tackle and shifted Duane Brown to left guard.
