Cornerback Charles James, who spent training camp with the Texans before being let go as one of the team's final cuts, is back with the team after being claimed on waivers from Baltimore Monday.
Per the Houston Chronicle, James will take the roster spot of reserve safety Lonnie Ballentine, who was place on injured reserve after dislocating his left left knee in Sunday's win over the Jaguars. Ballentine also tore two ligaments in his knee as well.
The 25-year-old James, whose efforts to make the team in training camp were chronicled on 'Hard Knocks' announced his return via Instagram.
James finished second on the Texans with 15 tackles in the preseason.
