Zac Swansey hit a 3-pointer with 2 seconds left to give Tennessee Tech a 71-68 win over Austin Peay on Thursday night.

The Golden Eagles (9-8, 5-3 Ohio Valley Conference) trailed 68-66 with 1:27 to play, before Zach Bailey's layup tied it for the 14th time 20 seconds later.

The Governors (12-8, 6-6) led 28-24 at halftime and Tennessee Tech scored 18 of its 22 second-chance points in the second half.

The Golden Eagles scored 32 points in the paint and shot 49.1 percent from the field in the game (27 of 55).

Bailey finished with 16 points, Kevin Murphy added 14 and Alfred Jones chipped in 10 for Tennessee Tech, which won for the third time its last four games.

Tyshawn Edmondson led the Governors, who shot just 35.6 percent from the floor (21 of 59), with 25 points. John Fraley chipped in 10 points.
