Fort Worth, TX (SportsNetwork.com) - Kyan Anderson picked up 14 points with seven assists and Trey Zeigler added 13 points as TCU used a second-half surge to take out No. 21 Oklahoma State, 70-55, on Saturday.

Amric Fields totaled 12 and Karviar Shepherd poured in 10 points for the Horned Frogs (15-10, 2-10 Big 12), whose only other conference win this season came against Texas Tech on Jan. 17.

"We made some shots and got some key stops. It's pretty simple and something we haven't been doing very well," said TCU head coach Trent Johnson on the difference in the contest. "They turn you over really well and are really good at defending. I thought we held their pressure pretty well."

Le'Bryan Nash had a game-high 19 points to go with seven rebounds for the Cowboys (17-8, 7-6), who had won three in a row. Jeff Newberry picked up 10 points in a losing cause.

Nash's two free throws pulled OSU into a 48-48 tie, the last of 10 deadlocks, with 8:06 remaining, but it was all TCU from that point on.

Fields made two from the line, and Brandon Parrish followed with a layup for a four-point spread less than a minute later. Nash missed an easy shot and Anderson cleaned up a Fields miss from beyond the arc to make it 54-48.

Nash converted a three-point play and it was a three-point spread, then Zeigler and Anthony Hickey countered and the score was 56-53 with 4:52 remaining.

TCU then reeled off 10 in a row to seal it. Fields had five during the surge, which Kenrich Williams ended on two free throws for a 66-53 game as 90 seconds were left on the clock.

"They deserved to win. They played hard, played gutsy, made all the big shots and out-rebounded us. It's pretty good to score 70 points and not make a three. They deserved it tonight," noted Oklahoma State bench boss Travis Ford.

Oklahoma State only led by as many as four in the first half, the final time on a triple from Newberry with two minutes to go which provided a 26-22 edge. Anderson scored the next four but OSU hit the break up 28-26.

Hickey converted a jumper three minutes into the second half and the Cowboys were ahead 37-32, and the Horned Frogs reversed momentum with 10 straight to go up 42-37. Shepherd spurred the run with six points.
