Swansea, Wales – Swansea City signed goalkeeper Michel Vorm to a new four-year deal Thursday.
Vorm, 28, joined Swansea from Utrecht last summer and started 37 of a possible 38 matches in the English Premier League. He has started all five matches this season and has two shutouts.
"I'm enjoying my time here very much and it is one of the reasons why I've signed an extension. I can also only see things at Swansea getting better and better," Vorm said.
"I can see a lot of positive things happening here and the club has a bright future ahead of it."
Vorm has played nine times for the Netherlands.
