Pittsburgh, PA (SportsNetwork.com) - The Pittsburgh Steelers have signed wide receiver/running back Dri Archer, the club's third-round pick in May's draft.
Financial terms of the four-year contract were not disclosed.
Selected with the 97th overall pick, Archer started 21 of the 47 games he played at Kent State. He was an all-purpose threat with the Golden Flashes and finished his collegiate career with 40 touchdowns -- the second-most in school history.
Archer caught 99 passes for 1,194 yards with 12 touchdowns, ran for 2,342 yards with 24 scores and returned 51 kickoffs for 1,436 yards with four touchdowns.
