Pittsburgh, PA (SportsNetwork.com) - The Pittsburgh Steelers announced the signing of punter Adam Podlesh to a one-year contract on Tuesday.
Podlesh spent the past three seasons with the Chicago Bears. He participated in all 16 games a season ago, averaging 37.6 yards-per-punt over 68 attempts, including 27 inside the 20-yard line.
The Maryland product has seen 107 games of NFL action with Jacksonville and Chicago since 2007, with an average of 38.7 yards per attempt over 467 punts.
