PITTSBURGH (AP) Pittsburgh Steelers running back DeAngelo Williams is second in the league in rushing yards through two weeks.

His reward will be a spot on the bench Sunday when the Steelers travel to St. Louis.

All-Pro Le'Veon Bell returns from a two-game suspension this weekend and coach Mike Tomlin says Bell will be the starter. Williams says he understands the arrangement, though Bell says the Steelers would be wise to keep both players involved going forward.

Like Williams, wide receiver Darrius Heyward-Bey has sparkled while filling in for the suspended Martavis Bryant.

Heyward-Bey has eight receptions through two games and quarterback Ben Roethlisberger says his confidence level in the speedy wideout is sky high.
