PITTSBURGH (AP) The Pittsburgh Steelers acquired cornerback Justin Gilbert from the Cleveland Browns on Saturday, hoping the former first-round pick can help out a secondary in the midst of a youth movement.

Pittsburgh sent a sixth-round pick in the 2018 draft to the Browns in exchange for Gilbert, the eighth overall pick in the 2014 draft who struggled to find a place in Cleveland. Gilbert had one interception across two seasons with the Browns.

The Steelers are trying to revamp a secondary that finished 30th in the league against the pass last year. They drafted cornerback Artie Burns in the first round and safety Sean Davis in the second round, but Burns has been slowed by injuries during training camp.
