GIJON, Spain (AP) Sporting Gjion scored two late goals after Granada had been reduced to nine men to claim a dramatic 3-3 draw in the Spanish league on Monday.

Sporting trailed by two goals until Nacho Cases gave it hope with a goal in the 88th minute after Granada lost Hugo Miguel to his second booking.

That sparked a furious final push by the hosts, and after Granada's Matheus was dismissed for a second bookable offence, substitute Miguel Herrero netter the equalizer six minutes into second-half stoppage time.

Granada squandered a great performance by forward Isaac Success, who netted his side's second and also played a part in two more goals as the visitors built a two-goal lead.

''We fought the whole game, and to draw in the last gasp is a point that will help us a lot,'' Guerrero said.

The newly-promoted Sporting was left in 12th place, while Granada let slip a great chance to escape from the bottom of the table.

Bernardo Espinosa headed Sporting in front in the eight, but Success led Granada back with his speed on the left flank. He crossed for Francisco ''Piti'' Medina to equalize in the 21st.

The Nigerian then cut back around two defenders before curling in a superb strike in the 41st, and his rebound fell for Youssef El Arabi to score from a deflected shot in the 73rd.

Success almost counted another assist that would have sealed the win when he played Thievy Bifouma clear, only for the forward to miss with just goalkeeper Alberto Garcia to beat.

It fell apart for Granada when Miguel was sent off and Sporting rallied behind the support of its vocal fans who braved the rain in northern Spain to score twice for a point.

Real Madrid leads the standings after eight rounds on goal difference ahead of Celta Vigo and Barcelona.
