Oregon will finally part ways with Ernie Kent.
According to sources, an official announcement is expected at a news conference Tuesday at 3:30 p.m. PT.
The source said that Kent has already informed his players of the decision.
Kent spent 13 seasons in Eugene and seemingly was on the hot seat for the last half-dozen or so.
He was 235-173 overall, but was just 8-23 last season and 16-16 this year - including a 7-11 mark in Pac-10 play.
Kent led the Ducks to a pair of Elite Eight appearances in 2002 and 2007.
Oregon will open a new building, Matthew Knight Arena, which is named after the son of Nike icon Phil Knight.
