Jamie Greubel has gotten plenty from bobsledding. Like World Cup medals, for example. A trip to the Olympics.

And soon, a husband.

The USA-2 women's bobsled pilot was reuniting with her fiance — German bobsledder Christian Poser — on Friday, the day his team was arriving in town to finish preparations for the Sochi Olympics.

They began dating about three years ago and plan to be married this summer.

Greubel, of Newtown, Pa., says the couple had to work through some language barriers at first, as well as the slight issue of living half a world away from one another. But they've made it work, and Greubel calls Poser her most ardent supporter.

It's not uncommon for sliders from different nations to meet on the various international circuits. And Greubel and Poser both are expected to keep competing next season, just under different flags.
