Montbeliard, France – Sochaux has agreed to terms with Portuguese club Benfica for the services of midfielder Ishmael Yartey, it was announced Friday.
Yartey, 22, penned a four-year deal with the French side after undergoing a medical, according to the club's website.
The Ghanaian signed for Benfica in 2009 but spent time on loan at numerous clubs, the most successful stint of which came in Switzerland with Servette where he netted eight goals in 31 matches last season.
