Snowstorm postpones Canisius women's basketball game against Binghamton

BUFFALO, N.Y. – The Canisius College women's basketball team's home game against Binghamton on Wednesday night has been postponed due to a severe lake effect snowstorm hitting the Buffalo region.

Canisius said Tuesday that no makeup date has been determined between the non-conference rivals.

Canisius' midtown campus wasn't being affected by the storm that was projected to drop about 70 inches south and east of the city. Travel concerns, however, were in issue for Binghamton because the New York Thruway was closed indefinitely earlier in the day.
