Lions running back Kevin Smith, Seahawks defensive end Chris Clemons and Panthers kick returner Kealoha Pilares have been honored as the NFC's top players for Week 11 of the NFL season.

Smith became the first Lions running back to receive the weekly award since Barry Sanders in 1997 by scoring three touchdowns and amassing 201 yards from scrimmage in Detroit's 49-35 win over Carolina. He ran for a career-high 140 yards on 16 carries and added 61 yards on four receptions in the comeback win.

Clemons recorded three sacks and forced two fumbles in Seattle's 24-7 victory over St. Louis. He had also won a player of the week award with the Eagles in 2008.

Pilares, a rookie from Hawaii, ran a kickoff back 101 yards for a touchdown against the Lions, the longest kickoff return in Panthers history. His 46.7 yards per return tied Rod Smart for the best one-game mark in team history.
