San Antonio, TX – The San Antonio Silver Stars signed forward Shameka Christon on Wednesday.
"We are excited to welcome Shameka to San Antonio," Silver Stars head coach and general manager Dan Hughes said. "In a good WNBA free agent class, she is one of the best. Shameka brings a great deep perimeter shooting with athletic length, skill and character to the Silver Stars."
A seven-year WNBA veteran, Christon has averaged 11.5 points, 3.4 rebounds and 1.5 assists in 207 career games with New York and Chicago.
Christon missed the 2011 season with a right knee injury suffered during training camp.
