London, England – A goal in each half from Gylfi Sigurdsson 0 win over Fulham at Craven Cottage, moving the Swans into eighth place.
Swansea has won three games in a row following back-to-back defeats, and the club started well with Sigurdsson putting them ahead in the 36th minute.
Wayne Routledge's cross was nodded back across the face of goal by Scott Sinclair, leaving Sigurdsson to score on a diving header from a few yards.
Sigurdsson, on loan from Hoffenheim, netted his second goal of the contest after playing a one-two with Routledge and slotting his shot past goalkeeper Mark Schwarzer.
Any chance that Fulham had of getting back into the game evaporated in the 77th minute when a poor ball from Philippe Senderos led to Joe Allen netting a third goal for the visitors and capping a miserable match for the Cottagers.
Wigan 1, West Bromwich 1
Wigan, England - Wigan's survival chances weren't helped too much by a 1-1 draw with West Bromwich at the DW Stadium on Saturday as former Latic Paul Scharner netted the equalizer for the Baggies.
Wigan had the better of the chances but was denied by the woodwork on three occasions.
James McArthur scored the opener for the home side when Victor Moses delivered a cross to the front of goal that deflected off of West Brom's Billy Jones and fell kindly to McArthur for a simple tap in.
But Wigan was undone by some poor marking on a 65th-minute corner kick as Chris Brunt swung the ball into the area and the unmarked Scharner got down to head it home.
The result is Wigan's third draw in four games and moves the club to within one point of safety.
