Sevilla have completed the signing of midfielder Sebastian Cristoforo from Uruguayan club Atletico Penarol, the La Liga outfit announced on Monday.

Cristoforo, 19, makes the move from his native Uruguay for a reported 2.25 million Euro transfer fee after putting pen to paper on a new five-year contract.

"I have arrived at a big club in Sevilla," Cristoforo told the club's official website. "This is a great opportunity for me, I am very happy and I can't wait to start."

Cristoforo becomes Sevilla's tenth acquisition of the summer transfer window as the club continues to reshape itself following the departures of Jesus Navas and Alvaro Negredo to Manchester City.

Sevilla will open its 2013-14 La Liga campaign on Saturday at home against Atletico Madrid.
