Brandon Hardin is tired of the injuries.

The free-agent safety, cut Friday by the New York Jets, just wants to play football, but his body keeps defying him.

Hardin missed his final college season at Oregon State with a shoulder injury, hurt his neck in his rookie year after being drafted in the third round by Chicago in 2012 and had a shoulder injury last summer.

The latest setback — a foot injury — sidelined him in camp with the Jets, and now Hardin is looking for a job a day after being released.

The 24-year-old safety says this injury might be the toughest to come back from. Not physically, but because of the timing. He hoped to play in all four preseason games. Now, he simply hopes for another chance.
