Ottawa Senators goaltender Craig Anderson was forced out of Sunday's 4-3 shootout loss to the Dallas Stars with a neck injury.

Anderson departed the game on a stretcher after taking an accidental knee to the head in overtime, leaving Robin Lehner to finish up the defeat.

Ottawa reported following the game that Anderson has a stiff neck and will undergo further evaluation on Monday. He is not expected to play on Tuesday, when the Senators take on the Blue Jackets in Columbus.
