Seattle, WA – Seattle Sounders FC midfielder Mauro Rosales will be sidelined two to four weeks with a small MCL tear in his right knee.
The 30-year-old Rosales was injured in Saturday's 3-0 win over D.C. United in Major League Soccer. He had two assists in the match to run his season total to 12, a new club record. Rosales also has five goals this season.
Rosales will miss matches against Herediano and Comunicaciones in the CONCACAF Champions League and Vancouver Whitecaps FC and the New England Revolution in MLS, and possibly more depending on how long he is sidelined.
