Texans quarterback Matt Schaub and linebacker Tim Dobbins were inactive for Sunday's game against the unbeaten Chiefs after both were ruled out with injuries earlier in the week.

Case Keenum was making his first NFL start in place of Schaub, who wasn't ready to go after sustaining right ankle and foot injuries in last week's loss to St. Louis.

Dobbins was out with a sore hamstring.

The rest of the Texans' big names were available, including running back Arian Foster, who was probable with thumb, chest and hamstring injuries. Wide receiver Andre Johnson was active after dealing with a shin injury.

Tight end Anthony Fasano was back for the Chiefs after missing four games because of a sprained ankle. Free safety Kendrick Lewis also was active despite an ankle injury.
