Santos names Galindo new coach
Mexico City, Mexico – Santos has named former boss and Mexico international Benjamin Galindo its new coach.
Galindo had a short stint in charge of Santos in 2006 and replaces Diego Cocca to become the third manager for the club this year. Cocca only became manager in February.
The 50-year-old Galindo played for Mexico in the 1994 World Cup, and has also coached Atlas, Cruz Azul, and Guadalajara. His previous stint at Santos lasted just seven matches.
