San Jose, CA – The San Jose Earthquakes acquired forward Pro league champion Orlando City on for the remainder of the Major League Soccer season.
Griffin was among the top goal scorers in the USL Pro Division in 2011 with nine goals in 22 games. He spent several weeks training with San Jose during the preseason, including a 10-day trip to Southern California, and trained with the club Thursday.
He will be available for Saturday's game at the Houston Dynamo. Per league and team policy, terms of the deal were not disclosed.
