Metairie, LA (SportsNetwork.com) - The New Orleans Saints waived kicker Garrett Hartley on Tuesday.

The New Orleans Times-Picayune reported the move, two days after Hartley was 1-of-3 on field goal tries in New Orleans' 27-16 loss at St. Louis. One of those misses was from 26 yards.

FoxSports reports the Saints have signed veteran kicker Shayne Graham to replace Hartley.

So far this season, Hartley has made 22-of-30 field goal attempts and has connected on all 41 of his extra-point tries. The 27-year-old has made 82-of-101 field goal attempts over his career since signing with the Saints in October 2008.

Hartley's career has been highlighted by a 3-for-3 effort on field goals during Super Bowl XLIV when the Saints beat the Indianapolis Colts.

Graham went 31-of-38 on field goals in 2012 with the Texans. He signed with the Pittsburgh Steelers on Sept. 9 this year, but was released just eight days later. Over his career, Graham has connected on 245-of-287 kicks and has also played for Buffalo, Carolina, Cincinnati, New England, the New York Giants, Miami and Baltimore.
