Metairie, LA – The New Orleans Saints placed kicker Garrett Hartley on injured reserve Tuesday with a right hip problem.
Hartley hurt his hip in a preseason game against the Oakland Raiders on August 28.
John Kasay has taken over the kicking duties for the Saints and he's a perfect 6-for-6 on field goal tries this season.
The Saints also cut defensive tackle Mitch King on Tuesday.
